Commercial Operations Manager (Fractional)

MDisrupt is seeking a highly organized and resourceful Commercial Operations Manager (Fractional) to support our growing commercial operations. In this fully remote role, you will play a critical part in ensuring seamless execution across client and expert engagements—from SOW creation and onboarding through billing and platform operations. You’ll help maintain operational continuity, improve workflows, and deliver a high-quality experience for both clients and experts.

What You’ll Do:

Own SOW & Commercial Operations Workflows:

Support the creation, coordination, execution, and tracking of Statements of Work (SOWs) for clients and experts, including renewals, amendments, and extensions. Ensure smooth handoff from sales to delivery and maintain accurate engagement records.

Manage Billing, Invoicing & Payments:

Oversee client invoicing in alignment with SOWs, manage billing communications, track accounts receivable, and support payment reconciliation and expert compensation in coordination with finance.

Provide Platform Operations Support:

Support day-to-day use of the MDisrupt platform, including timesheet and invoice submission workflows. Troubleshoot issues for clients and experts and escalate when needed.

Deliver Client & Expert Support:

Serve as a frontline resource for administrative and operational inquiries, resolving issues related to engagements, billing, onboarding, and platform usage.

Who You Are:

  • Operationally Strong: You bring 5+ years of experience in operations, commercial support, or similar roles, with a track record of managing workflows and keeping processes on track.
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: You excel at managing multiple workstreams, tracking details across engagements, and ensuring accuracy in documentation and execution.
  • Financially Comfortable: You have experience supporting invoicing, billing workflows, or payment coordination.
  • Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable working across platforms (CRM, billing systems, support tools) and can quickly learn new systems.
  • Strong Communicator: You communicate clearly and professionally with clients, experts, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive & Collaborative: You take initiative, anticipate needs, and work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
